The three lines I write before the day gets loud
I've picked up a small habit that I didn't expect to matter much: before I look at my phone in the morning, I write three lines in a little notebook. Just whatever's in my head — a worry, something I'm looking forward to, something that felt heavy yesterday.
There's no format and no goal. Some mornings it's three complaints. Some mornings it's half a thought I never finish. But writing it down takes it out of the loop in my head and puts it somewhere I can see.
The rest of the day still does what it does. But those three lines make the morning feel a little more mine.
Does anyone else here write things down to get them out of their head? I'd love to hear how it works for you.
