Winding down at night: my little routine that helps me sleep

Sleep Mindfulness & Routines

Evenings used to be my worst time. I'd climb into bed and my brain would suddenly decide to replay the whole day, plus plan tomorrow, plus worry about next week. Lately I've been trying something small: about half an hour before bed, I put my phone on the charger in the kitchen and make a little cup of tea. No scrolling, no news. Sometimes I just sit with it and think about one good moment from the day. It doesn't fix everything, and some nights my thoughts still race — but more often than not, I fall asleep faster and wake up a little less heavy. What does your wind-down look like? Or if you don't have one, is there one tiny thing you could try tonight?
