Getting it out of your head and onto paper
Some days a worry just keeps looping in my head, and the more I carry it around silently, the heavier it feels. Lately I've tried something simple: I write it down, just a few honest lines on paper, no need for it to sound neat or wise.
Seeing it in front of me seems to shrink it a little. I can notice what part is actually bothering me, and what part is just the same thought going round again. Sometimes I even spot one small step I could take, and sometimes I just close the notebook and feel a bit lighter for having set it down.
If your mind feels crowded today, would you try writing a few lines, just for yourself? I'd love to hear whether it helps you breathe a little easier.
