A small kindness I still remember

I was thinking this week about a small kindness from a stranger that I still remember, years later. It was nothing big. Someone held a door open when my hands were full, smiled, and wished me a good day, and for some reason that moment stayed with me.

It made me wonder how often a tiny bit of warmth carries further than we realise. We may forget what we said, but the other person might carry it with them for a long time.
