Just as Lucas begins to believe Jennifer is settling into her new life, he wakes one morning to find her gone. She has left behind her phone and most of her belongings, offering no explanation and no clue where she went. Lucas’s increasingly desperate search leads him back to the place where their reunion began and to a frightening glimpse of the world Jennifer has been living inside. Finding her is only the beginning. Bringing her home may prove far easier than convincing her to accept the help she fears.

Their awkward reunion reveals that Jennifer remembers far more about Lucas than he ever imagined, while leaving one painful question unanswered: what happened to her?
